he Misty Max nebulizer delivers aerosol with an average particle diameter (MMAD) of 2.21 µm (+/- 0.07 µm), and a respirable fraction (particles <5 µm) of 79.7% (+/- 1.7%). The Misty Max features an anti-spill design, allowing effective operation within a 0 – 90-degree range, and a stable diffuser base within a 0 – 360-degree range. If the patient is unable to use the mouthpiece, the nebulizer can be connected to an aerosol mask for nebulization.
The Misty Max nebulizer is dual-scaled every 1 ml from 3 to 10 ml.
The nebulizer is available in kits with a mouthpiece or with pediatric or adult aerosol masks. Each kit includes a 2.1 m star-lumen oxygen tubing that prevents kinking and has a rigid connector dedicated to the nebulizer. There is also an available version with a T-connector for integration into the respiratory circuit.
