Description

Flat-tipped ends, called Duckbill tips (resembling a duck's bill), are used for suctioning secretions from the surgical field in hard-to-reach areas while providing a wide area for fluid aspiration. Mediplast suction sets have a tip permanently attached to the tube to prevent disconnection during a procedure.
