Exudrain Mini

Mediplast drainage sets are very easy to use. They do not require expensive equipment or specially trained personnel. The anti-reflux valves, both at the inlet and outlet of the bellows, minimize handling issues, thereby reducing the time needed for drain maintenance.

Description

Exudrain Mini Exudrain is a low-pressure drainage system with a small capacity. Made from soft material, the bellows allow for easy one-handed operation.

  • Initial average vacuum after activation: 75 mmHg
  • Bellows capacity: 110 ml
  • The bellows have 2 valves at the inlet and outlet
  • Supplied as a set with a drain

Application:

  • Hand surgery
  • Biopsy
  • Same-day surgery

Low pressure selection

The use of low-pressure drains has many advantages, such as:

  • Efficient suction1
  • Reduced blood loss2
  • Better drainage collection3
  • Earlier removal of drains4
  • Less tissue aspiration5

In cases where too much pressure is applied, tissues and small vessels may be sucked into the drains, leading to excessive blood loss and increased patient discomfort. Mediplast's low-pressure sets provide effective drainage with fewer issues.6
